Truth Awakening Publishing LLC ("Truth Awakening Publishing," "we," "us") runs this website and the subscriber membership offered through it. This policy explains what information we collect, how and why we collect it, who receives it, and the choices you have. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Free account: your first name, last name, gender, and email address. We use your gender to adjust how the site looks for you.
- Subscription and payment: your email address and payment details are collected by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive your email, a customer ID, and your subscription status.
- Dream interpretation requests: the dream you type in, any answers you give to clarifying questions, and the email you subscribed with. See Section 6 for how these are handled.
- Reviews: the name or initials, star rating, and comment you submit. Reviews are read before they appear publicly, and approved reviews are visible to everyone.
- Messages to us: anything you send to our contact email.
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and the date and time of each visit. See Section 3.
- Activity records: when you are signed in, we record actions such as logins, symbol look-ups, book views and downloads, clicks on our Amazon book links, and dream interpretation requests, tied to your email address. We use these records to run and improve the service.
- Browser storage: see Section 8.
Text you type into the free Dream Symbol Guide entry box is processed in your browser. It is not sent to us or saved.
3. How and why we collect IP addresses
An IP address is a number that identifies the network connection your device uses to reach the internet. Every website receives it automatically when a page loads, because it is how the response finds its way back to you.
How
- Our hosting provider, Netlify, receives your IP address whenever you load a page or use a feature of the site, and may keep it in server logs.
- Services that load along with our pages, such as Google Fonts and the library that displays PDF books, receive your IP address from your browser.
- Stripe receives your IP address when you check out or manage your subscription.
- Our own systems and our other service providers may also see your IP address when you use a feature, such as signing up, submitting a dream, or logging in.
Why
- To deliver the site to you and keep it running.
- To protect the site, our subscribers, and our payment system: detecting repeated failed attempts, automated abuse, spam, fraudulent payments, and unauthorized access to subscriber content or admin tools.
- To diagnose technical problems.
- To estimate your general location, such as country or state, for security and legal compliance.
- To respond to lawful requests or protect legal rights when required.
We do not use IP addresses to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell them. We do not try to identify you by name from your IP address alone, though we may connect it with your account if needed to investigate abuse or fraud.
4. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and provide the features you use.
- To process subscriptions, free trials, renewals, and cancellations.
- To generate dream interpretations and, where a dream is set aside, to review and respond to it.
- To send service messages, such as welcome emails, billing and trial notices, and account notices.
- To send announcements about new books, features, and content, which you can opt out of (Section 9).
- To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems.
- To understand which features are used so we can improve them.
- To comply with the law and enforce our terms.
5. We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers for targeted advertising. We share it only as described in Section 7.
6. Dreams you submit
Dreams often contain personal details, and may touch on religion, health, relationships, or other private matters. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing.
- When you request a full interpretation, your dream and your answers to any clarifying questions are sent to our servers and to a third-party artificial intelligence service that helps prepare the interpretation. We use this information only to provide your interpretation.
- Some dreams are set aside automatically for personal review by Truth Awakening Publishing. For those, we store your dream and email address so we can review and respond, and we keep a record of the request and its outcome.
- Interpretations are offered for prayer, reflection, and discernment. They are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, mental-health, or other advice.
7. Who receives your information
We share information with service providers who help us run the site, and only as needed for those services:
- Netlify, for website hosting, server functions, and data storage.
- Stripe, for payments, subscriptions, and the customer portal. Stripe's handling of your data is described in its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
- An artificial intelligence service provider, to help generate dream interpretations.
- Our email service provider, to send account, billing, and announcement emails.
- Google Fonts and content-delivery services, which load fonts and code libraries that the site needs.
We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order; to protect our rights, our subscribers, or the public; to investigate fraud or security problems; or in connection with a sale, merger, or transfer of the business, in which case the information would remain subject to this policy. We may share information with your permission.
Approved reviews, including the name or initials you enter, are public.
8. Cookies and browser storage
The site uses your browser's storage and, where needed, cookies to keep you signed in, remember that you registered for the free guide, remember announcements you have closed, and let the site work as an installable app with faster loading. These are used to run the site, not to track you across other websites.
Do Not Track: we do not track you across other websites, and our site does not currently change its behavior in response to "Do Not Track" or similar browser signals. You can clear or block cookies and stored data in your browser settings, though parts of the site may then stop working correctly.
9. Email choices
We send service messages that are necessary to run your account and subscription, such as receipts, trial and renewal notices, and payment problems. You cannot opt out of those while you have an account or subscription.
You can opt out of announcement and marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by writing to contact@truthawakeningpub.com. We will honor your request promptly. Because a free-account email address is how we contact you about the free guide, an unsubscribe request does not delete your account.
10. How long we keep information
We keep account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. We keep records that we need for legal, tax, security, or dispute purposes, such as payment records held by Stripe and records of dreams that were set aside for review. Server logs kept by our hosting provider are retained according to that provider's practices.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and limited administrator access. No website or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use care with what you share and protect the email account you use with us.
12. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live, including California and certain other states, you may have additional rights, such as receiving a copy of your information or opting out of the sale or sharing of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell it or share it for targeted advertising.
To make a request, email contact@truthawakeningpub.com from the address on your account. We may ask for details to confirm who you are before acting. We will respond within the time the law requires, and we will not treat you differently for making a request. We may keep some information where the law or a legitimate business need, such as fraud prevention or recordkeeping, requires it.
To cancel a paid subscription, use the "Manage or Cancel Subscription" link on our membership page.
13. Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Links to other sites
The site links to other places, including Amazon, where our books are sold, and Cash App, for optional giving. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.
15. Where information is processed
We operate from the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States and in other places where our service providers operate. If you use the site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred there.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page, and we will give notice by email or on the site for material changes. Using the site after an update means you accept the updated policy.
