How to Create a Free Email Account
You'll only need to do this once. All three of these services are free, take just a few minutes to set up, and only require internet access — which you already have, since you're reading this. Pick whichever one you'd like.
📧 Gmail (Google)
gmail.com
- Tap the button below to go to Google's sign-up page.
- Enter your first and last name when asked.
- Choose a username — this becomes the first part of your email address (for example, "janedoe123@gmail.com"). If your first choice is already taken, Google will suggest similar ones.
- Create a password you'll remember — write it down somewhere safe if needed.
- You may be asked for a phone number to help verify you're a real person and to help you recover the account later if needed. This step can sometimes be skipped.
- Agree to the terms when prompted. Your new email address is ready to use immediately.
📧 Outlook (Microsoft)
outlook.com
- Tap the button below to go to Outlook's sign-up page.
- Choose an email address — you'll pick the part before "@outlook.com."
- Create a password you'll remember.
- Enter your first and last name when asked.
- You may be asked for your country/region and birthdate.
- Follow any verification steps shown (this may include a quick puzzle or code). Your new email address is ready to use immediately.
📧 Yahoo Mail
yahoo.com
- Tap the button below to go to Yahoo's sign-up page.
- Enter your first and last name.
- Choose an email address — you'll pick the part before "@yahoo.com."
- Create a password you'll remember.
- Enter a phone number — Yahoo uses this to verify the account and send you a code by text.
- Enter the verification code you receive to finish. Your new email address is ready to use immediately.
A Few Tips
- Write your new email address and password down somewhere safe — you'll want to remember them.
- Once your email is created, come back to this site and use it to register for the free tool.
- If you get stuck on any step, most of these services have a "Help" or "?" link right on the sign-up page.
